Daily Maintenance Of Frequency Inverter

2025-10-22

The daily maintenance of frequency inverters mainly includes environmental checks, cleaning the heat dissipation system, monitoring electrical parameters, tightening connection terminals, and recording operating data to ensure stable equipment operation and extend service life. These measures can prevent common faults such as overheating or poor contact and need to be performed regularly on a daily or weekly basis.

1.Environmental and operational status check

Environmental Monitoring: Ensure the frequency inverter's ambient temperature is between -10°C and 40°C , with moderate humidity, and avoid dust, corrosive gases or water intrusion.

Abnormal Detection: Check daily for unusual noises, vibrations, odors or overheating in the frequency inverter, and verify that control panel parameters such as voltage and current are normal.

2.Cleaning and cooling system maintenance

Cleaning of Cooling Channels: Dust on the inverter fan, heat sink, and air ducts should be removed weekly to prevent a decline in cooling efficiency (dust can cause 25% of failures).

Fan Function Check: Test whether the inverter fan operates smoothly and check if the bearings are jammed. Replace promptly if abnormalities are found (lifespan is approximately 2-5 years).

3.Electrical connection and parameter monitoring

Terminal Tightening and Insulation: Weekly recheck if the frequency inverter's input and output terminals are loose, and measure the main circuit voltage (adjust if fluctuation exceeds ±10%).

Capacitor and Parameter Verification: Monthly inspect the frequency inverter's capacitors for bulging or leakage (service life 5-8 years), and verify parameter settings such as start-up method to prevent misoperation.‌‌
